These days, seeing a stray dog in need of assistance is not unusual. A few of them will follow you and want water or food.

Others will wag their tails courteously, hoping you will adopt them and bring them inside your house.

You’ll be surprised to learn that a dog stopped a woman for a completely different purpose in this strange incident.

A Huge Surprise

A woman named Mizti Brogdon had discovered an odd puppy in one of the parking spaces off a road in Oklahoma while running errands.

It was difficult to overlook a dejected dog in need because Brogdon is the president of the Street Dog Rescue and Recovery.

She exited her vehicle and approached the dog, who would later be named Dolly. Her politeness somewhat astonished the woman.

“She came right up to me, let me pet her,” Brogdon said to The Dodo.

She soon understood that the woman was inquiring about how she could be helped, and that Dolly was asking for something.

She made it quite clear that she wanted Brogdon to go with her.

It s Raining Puppies

According to Brogdon, I followed her as she began to ascend the route leading to the cell tower. I noticed all of the puppies swarming out from behind this fallen log at that point.

She was just wondering how many of them were there, and the puppies were a little wary but intrigued when they saw her.

Brogdon had never seen anything like this, so it was shocking to see that she had a total of 16 puppies.

After some consideration, she concluded that many of these puppies were not Dolly’s babies and that they were probably from different litters.Rather, she was just being the kind mother she is and looking after them.

At this time, Brogdon recognized she needed assistance, so she called a friend for support. Together, they captured every puppy and transported them to a shelter.

The second issue needed to be resolved now.Brogdon decided it would be better to seek assistance from other groups because there were simply too many of them. She went live on Facebook, and four different animal shelters in Oklahoma contacted her.

These were Safe Haven Animal Rescue, The Fuzzy Friends Fund, 405 Animal Rescue, and Forever Yours Dog Rescue.

After being brought to a veterinarian, the puppies had routine examinations and treatments. They were then placed in a foster family to wait for their final adoption.

After being adopted by a new family, Dolly now lives happily in her forever home with her devoted family.
