Woman Heard Cries Coming From A Box Covered With A Water Hose, So She Went To Investigate

Imagine yourself going about your daily business in your hometown when all of a sudden you notice faint sounds coming from somewhere nearby. When you locate the source of the sound, you are shocked to see that there are seven little puppies inside a box.

A woman in San Antonio, Texas, experienced this while passing one of her neighborhood establishments. She was so surprised by the sounds that she felt compelled to investigate.

She could only see tiny puppy eyes pleading for assistance through the box’s opening.

The Most Unlikely Scenario

Seven puppies were stuck within the box when she opened it. The puppies were having trouble breathing and had presumably been left overnight.

To prevent the dogs from escaping, a heavy water hose was placed on top of the box. The unfortunate pups attempted to open the box with their snouts slightly in an attempt to get some fresh air to help them breathe.

Fortunately for them, the woman who discovered them was a volunteer with a rescue and decided right away to help the puppies get shelter and assistance.

She made contact with every San Antonio dog shelter she could find, but sadly, nobody was able to assist the puppies.

According to Aposton’s Facebook page: No one could dedicate themselves to feeding seven extra mouths because every shelter and rescue was overburdened. She was informed that having them put down somewhere was the only choice.

Instead of having the puppies put down, the woman persisted in seeking assistance.

She contacted Tattered Paws And Golden Hearts Rescue (TPGHR) because she was at a loss on what to do. She knew she had to attempt something, despite the fact that they were also overworked and probably couldn’t do anything to aid the puppies.

The Hopeful Resolution

When TPGHR President Nancy Rieley saw the puppies, she couldn’t help but feel sorry for them. “Looking at seven little puppies and being the one who decides whether they live or die is a terrible feeling,” she said.

Thankfully, everything worked out, and Nancy made the decision to assist the little pups in resting and recuperating until they could find them a permanent home.

They determined that the puppies are at least 4 to 5 weeks old and of mixed breeds. There are five boys and two girls. TPGHR stated that the puppies will get the necessary medical care to guarantee their well-being.

Through TPGHR, the woman who discovered them is currently caring for and fostering them. They are receiving the much-needed assistance, but they are still a long way from finding their happy home.

The thought of what would have happened to the unfortunate puppies if the woman hadn’t been there to assist them makes me very sad.

However, it is also immensely reassuring to know that there are organizations like as Golden Hearts and Tattered Paws, and that the puppies are being given the opportunity to live a long and happy life after everything they have endured.
