Banner was a Georgia-born therapy dog that spent the majority of his life helping those in greatest need.
His owner, Whitney Braley, has had him for a long time, and he has been a huge support to her during her anxiety attacks and PTSD episodes.
His compassionate nature and desire to be with his best buddy were immediately apparent to her.
Banner was only enjoying a walk in the woods close to his home one fateful day.He hurried back to Whitney as soon as he saw something odd while out for a walk.
He seemed to be begging her to follow him, but she wasn’t sure what he wanted.
Together, they ventured into the forest, when the dog noticed a sealed plastic box and thought something might be inside.
A Big Surprise For Whitney
She discovered seven newborn kittens stranded and abandoned in the middle of the jungle when she opened the package.
Whitney took them home and nursed them back to health since she felt she couldn’t just abandon them.
Banner took up the role of a mother to these kittens, constantly keeping an eye on them to make sure they were doing well.
It took a long time, but with the support of this incredible team, they recovered just fine.
When they were at last all right, Whitney knew she needed to put them up for adoption so they could all find a more permanent home in Georgia.
I believe it’s safe to assume that all of the kittens found new homes, even though we don’t actually know what happened to them.
