The efforts of Stoughton Police Officer Jennifer Sullivan during a recent fraud investigation involving about $65,000 in stolen monies, which led to the arrest of a Brockton man, are being honored by Stoughton Chief Donna McNamara.

BROCKTON resident Andy Edward Robinson, 27, was taken into custody on Wednesday and accused of one count of larceny over $1,200.

After Panera Bread in Stoughton reported unusual transactions involving large sums of money over an extended period of time, Officer Sullivan arrived on Friday, October 25, to take a fraud report. The business concluded that an alleged fraud scheme was executed by an individual who had access to the company’s third-party delivery service system.

Officer Sullivan was able to identify the suspect as ROBINSON, a former assistant manager at the Stoughton Panera Bread, through her investigation efforts. According to Officer Sullivan, ROBINSON was still able to access the company’s third-party delivery service account. Between March and October 2024, he allegedly stole $64,547 by placing the orders, manipulating the delivery service’s tipping system, and using the system to accomplish over 700 fraudulent transactions.

On Wednesday, January 8, Robinson was taken into custody and appeared in Stoughton District Court for arraignment.

After serving in the Marine Corps, Officer Sullivan has 18 years of experience with the Stoughton Police Department. At the moment, she works the day shift.
