Cybersecdn- In an unexpected turn of events, Luis Hernandez, a 36-year-old Queens resident, was arrested for smoking in the subway, only to be linked to a murder case dating back to 2020. Brooklyn transit police apprehended Hernandez, who was wanted for the stabbing death of Richard Hernandez, a 21-year-old, in Astoria.
The incident, which took place at the corner of 36th Avenue and 31st Street, resulted in the younger Hernandez’s death despite being rushed to Mount Sinai Queens. Luis Hernandez, with no prior arrests, has been charged with murder, gang assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.
