A Man from Jersey City Was Charged with Random Assault After an Indian Immigrant Was Stabbed in A Park!

Cybersecdn The victim, Ojas Junnarkar, 28, was walking alone on the Pershing Field running track around 9:30 p.m. when he was robbed. Friends said it was Sunday, January 21. They said that Junnarkar had cuts in his colon and kidneys.

After that, Jersey City police said that Santos Camacho had been arrested on charges of aggravated attack and illegal weapons. Camacho, who was still being held in the Hudson County Correctional Center in Kearny, is accused of attacking Junnarkar with what the victim thought was a brass-knuckle knife after kicking and punching him and threatening to kill him.

Friends say Junnarkar was taken to Christ Hospital in a private car after coming back to his flat covered in blood. After that, he was taken to Jersey City Medical Center.

The man’s health was getting better, “but his physical pain and mental trauma is unimaginable,” said Nithin Narsipur, who set up a GoFundMe page for Junnarkar. “He may need multiple weeks of rehab and the road to recovery will be a long one.”An official reason for the attack has not been found yet.

Friends said that Camacho didn’t take anything from Junnarkar. According to reports, Junnarkar moved to the U.S. from India five years ago to work in IT. He told them that Camacho had gone past him going the other way, then turned around and hit him in the lower back. A spokesman for Jersey City, Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione, said that police found a knife at the scene. An investigation was still going on.
