Cybersecdn- In a recent interview with Inverse, Apple once again emphasized its commitment to gaming, showcasing how its platforms – Macs, iPhones, and iPads – are becoming formidable contenders in the gaming world. The introduction of titles like “Resident Evil Village” and “No Man’s Sky” directly from original developers marks a significant shift from previous third-party ports.

A key driver in this evolution is Apple’s transition to custom Arm-based silicon for its Macs. This unification of architecture across Apple’s three platforms simplifies porting games, thereby opening up a vast potential market. The introduction of the A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15 Pro series and the M3 chips in the new MacBook Pro models further bolsters this shift. These chips come equipped with integrated GPUs featuring gaming-centric technologies like hardware-accelerated ray-tracing and mesh shading.
