Glenwood Springs: This community, located near Aspen and home to around 9,781 people, is at the confluence of two rivers. In 2017, it had 269 violent crimes and 4,677 property crimes, making it the fourth most dangerous city in Garfield County.
Carbondale is located about an hour southwest of Glenwood Springs and has a population of approximately 5,688. In 2017, there were 129 violent crimes and 1,109 property crimes reported, making it the fifth most dangerous city in Garfield County.
