FBI offering up to $20K to help capture suspect in 43-year-old Bristol County murder with New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Massachusetts, Colorado, Florida ties
In connection with a murder that occurred in Bristol County 43 years ago, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
For the alleged murder of his 20-year-old lover Robin Shea, 81-year-old Andrew Peter Dabbs is currently wanted by the Massachusetts State Police, Norton Police, the FBI Boston, and the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
Dabbs is wanted for the suspected October 10, 1981, murder of his girlfriend. Dabbs is accused of shooting the woman in the chest with a.45 caliber revolver and pushing her body out of the car into the side of Route 123 as the couple drove through Norton, Massachusetts, from their Derry, New Hampshire, apartment. A state warrant for Dabbs’ arrest was issued after the Bristol Superior Court in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts indicted him for murder on November 3, 1981. After Dabbs was accused of unlawfully fleeing to avoid prosecution, a United States Magistrate in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts issued a federal arrest warrant for him on September 20, 1982.
