Diego Rodriguez-Salvador, a 23-year-old illegal alien, has been charged with kidnapping and raping a 13-year-old girl at knifepoint in Kenner, Louisiana.
The arrest followed a manhunt by the Kenner Police Department, which tracked Rodriguez-Salvador to New Orleans East. He faces charges of second-degree kidnapping and second-degree rape of a juvenile.
On September 3, Rodriguez-Salvador allegedly abducted the girl in the Veterans Heights neighborhood, near New Orleans International Airport.
He reportedly took her to a trailer, where the assault occurred. The girl managed to return home and inform her parents, who then contacted the police immediately.
Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley expressed outrage over the incident, describing Rodriguez-Salvador as a “coward” for targeting a young girl.
The Department of Homeland Security is collaborating with local authorities on the case. Rodriguez-Salvador is currently being held in Jefferson Parish without bond. For more details, visit Breitbart.
