Kansas City Police Reviewing Video of Arrest After Woman Claims She Was Called ‘Animal’
In response to a widely circulated video, the Kansas City, Missouri, police department has initiated an investigation into an incident where an officer reportedly referred to a Black woman as an ‘animal’ during an arrest outside the Pizza Bar Restaurant.
According to reports, the woman was involved in a disturbance with restaurant staff, prompting security officers to intervene and detain her.

As the woman resisted while on the ground in handcuffs, a bystander’s video purportedly captured an officer making the derogatory remark.
