Pup Freezing In Portable Toilet For More Than Two Days Shocks Michigan Park Employee

The terms “animal cruelty” convey a great deal of suffering, treachery, disregard, and hardship for our four-legged companions.

Every day, committed animal rescuers work to end this terrible reality. And just when it looks like they’ve made great strides, another instance comes to light, shattering our hearts once more.

One such event that occurred during the Creasey Bicentennial recently horrified the people of Michigan.

Hank, a Pitbull dog, was discovered in a portable toilet, coated in filth and feces, after his owner had left him there. He had been trying to escape for nearly two days.

Abandoned By Owner

Jacob Kross, a park employee, was going about his daily business when he heard a porta-potty yelping helplessly. He was genuinely astonished by what he saw when he opened the toilet door.

Only a little bowl of food was left for a little Pittie puppy, who was coated in grime and excrement. He had been left there by an owner who had shut the door and gone, and he was frantically looking for a way out.

Kross informed the Grand Blanc Township Police Department about the abuse. The officers’ squad responded to the call right away.

In the video on the Department’s official Facebook page, Chief Renye claims that he was left alone at the park for over two days.

Hank maintained his puppy spark in spite of his hardship. He showed his happiness at being found at last by shaking his tail and wearing a broad smile after being saved.

He was taken right away to Grand Blanc Veterinary Hospital for additional evaluation. Hank quickly won over everyone’s affections!

Later, the Department discovered that Hank’s owner, a 25-year-old woman, had left him there because her landlord forbade Pitbulls from living in the flat.

The owner was taken into custody, and the matter is currently being looked into.

However, Hank’s circumstances have taken an unexpected turn!

This resilient pooch got more wonderful news after his veterinarians gave him a clean sheet of health. The man who discovered him, Jacob, and his spouse, Jenna, made the decision to provide him a permanent residence!

According to GB Veterinary Hospital’s Facebook post, “He’s just the cutest and sweetest and he’s so lucky to have a wonderful new family and so many new friends to help care for him.”

Heartwarming Outcome

Hank is overjoyed at his new house. Despite his ongoing efforts to fully recuperate, he immediately showed his true nature.

He’s adorable, lovable, and already putting on weight.

When my husband discovered him, he was quite thin and underweight. He is receiving weight back from us. Jenna commented in the GBTPD video’s comment section that “he is doing good and happy.”

The Department and Hanks owners encourage pet owners to look after their animals and, if necessary, seek shelter at animal care facilities rather than leaving them alone.

Take care of your pets. Keep in mind that you choose the animal, not the other way around. Chief Renye said, “We will speak up for animals who suffer from animal abuse.”
