Rescuers From Florida Were Devastated After Finding This Sweet Pup Tied To A Tree With Heartbreaking Note
Many people are forced to make difficult decisions in these trying times. Unfortunately, some of those choices are having a detrimental effect on our cherished pets: an increasing number of dogs are being abandoned on the streets or left in shelters.
Pets who have been abandoned or abandoned are crammed into shelters worldwide. The general unpredictability we’re facing is partly to blame, but a major contributing factor is that people are losing their jobs or are afraid they will.
It’s heartbreaking to consider that some people fear they are no longer able to care for their dogs. I’m going to tell you a story that exemplifies this problem.
Because of some difficult financial circumstances, a man from Orlando, Florida, was no longer able to support his pet pit bull, Lincoln.
In the middle of the night, he made the desperate decision to tie Lincoln to his neighbor’s tree.
In addition to this tragic deed, he left a note pleading with the neighbor to look after his infant and outlining his predicament:
In order to spend this pandemic with my mother and brother, I’m moving to California. Please find Lincoln a decent home or take care of him. I entrust my child to you. I apologize.
Fortunately, a local rescue group known as The Pittie Party of Central Florida (TPPCF) stepped in to save Lincoln after the neighbor was unable to keep him.
Lincoln was taken home by a volunteer named Mayson Jones, who showered him with affection and playfulness. Lincoln was still frisky and had a wag in his tail, even if he missed his owner.
Fortunately, there is a happy ending to this sad tale.for feeling terrible for Lincoln, Melanie Anderson made the decision to look for him until he could find a permanent home. With his foster family, he now enjoys enjoying sunny naps and boat cruises.
Lincoln’s predicament is regrettably not unique.Many canines are being abandoned or left behind as shelters struggle.
TPPCF is requesting help, as are other rescues.In order to accept homeless canines into their hearts and homes, they are seeking foster families.
The rescue group covers all expenses and gives the foster family everything they need to care for the dog. What they posted on Facebook:
