State Police arrest 75-year-old man after wrong-way crash on Route 6

Authorities responded to a wrong-way collision Tuesday night, and a local man was taken into custody.

Louis J. Grassa, 75, of Johnston, Rhode Island, was taken into custody by troopers for Reckless Driving First Offense shortly after 9:30 p.m., according to State Police.
