Cybersecdn- New York City witnessed a night of violence with three separate shooting incidents, resulting in two fatalities. The first tragic incident occurred in Harlem, where a 39-year-old man was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.

Located in the driver’s seat of a parked car on West 135th Street near Riverside Drive, the man was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where he was declared deceased. The motive behind the shooting remains under investigation, and no arrests have been made.

The second incident took a life in Downtown Brooklyn. Richard Reed, 35, fell victim to multiple gunshots in the lobby of a building on Sands Street, near Navy Street, part of the NYCHA’s Farragut Houses. Reed, a resident of a different building within the complex, was shot in the chest and was pronounced dead at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

The third incident, occurring around 3 a.m. in the Bronx, involved a 42-year-old man who was shot twice, once in the torso and once in the left arm, on East 180th Street near Third Avenue in the Belmont neighborhood. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect in this case, last seen wearing a white vest, fled the scene, and the motive for the violence remains unknown.
