The NYPD, responding to an unrelated high-end clothing store robbery by a group of thieves, had just secured the scene where the culprits had abandoned their black Lexus. During this operation, Dula, driving the wrong way, reportedly accelerated her vehicle when instructed to stop by a police officer, resulting in the officer being struck and injured.

The impact caused injuries to the officer’s legs and arms. Dula’s actions have led to charges of vehicular assault, assault, reckless endangerment, and impaired driving. This incident adds to her previous legal troubles, as she was arrested in March 2022 for criminal mischief.
