A pedestrian in Southern California lost his life in a terrifying incident that happened late on Friday night after being hit by three cars.

The heart-wrenching event occurred at approximately 11:45 pm, at an intersection roughly 20 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles, as revealed by the city’s police department in a recent news release.

Crossing San Fernando Road in the middle of a block, the California pedestrian who was only described as a likely Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s met a horrible end. The events transpired ruthlessly, as per the statements of witnesses and security camera recordings provided by Amgad Khalil, a business owner in the area.

The initial collision occurred when a light-colored pickup truck, traveling in the wrong direction – north in the southbound lanes  struck the pedestrian, causing him to be forcefully knocked to the ground. Khalil, who witnessed the incident on his security camera, recounted, “He was breathing. He was trying to get up.”

Nevertheless, prior to the victim from California being able to regain his balance, a sizable SUV, similarly proceeding in the incorrect direction, administered a second impactful collision.
