Cybersecdn- In a surprising and concerning incident, a 10-year-old child from St. Petersburg, Florida, was involved in a car crash while driving their family’s Nissan on Interstate 275. The incident occurred at approximately 6:07 p.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the child had taken the car without permission and was driving it north in the left lane along I-275 near I-375. During the drive, the Nissan attempted to overtake and sideswiped a truck that was driving ahead in the center lane. This collision caused the Nissan to rotate and crash into a bridge rail.
Fortunately, the child driver suffered only minor injuries in the crash. Meanwhile, the truck involved in the accident, driven by a 27-year-old man from Wimauma, came to a controlled stop, and the driver and his two passengers remained uninjured.
