cybersecdn- In a distressing incident in Altamonte Springs, Florida, a 19-year-old woman, Leanna Ramnarine, has been taken into custody following a deadly stabbing at a Circle K convenience store. The altercation, which occurred on December 19, 2023, resulted in the death of 21-year-old clerk Lakeira Hall.
According to the Altamonte Springs Police Department, officers responded to a call at AdventHealth Altamonte’s emergency room around 10:54 p.m., where they found Hall suffering from multiple stab wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The investigation revealed that a dispute between Hall and Ramnarine at the Circle K store, located at 109 E Altamonte Drive, escalated, leading Ramnarine to use a knife in the altercation. Hall was transported to the hospital by a friend who witnessed the event. Ramnarine is now detained at the John E.
Polk Correctional Facility, facing a charge of Second-Degree Murder. In the wake of this tragedy, authorities are appealing to witnesses for more information, encouraging them to contact the Altamonte Springs Police Department or submit anonymous tips to Crimeline.
